Developed an administrative tool that not only controls the power, but also keeps track of individual electronic's energy consumption simultaneously.
The tool enables user to (1) remote control power of appliances at home on web application via WiFi and (2) review detailed information- time, amount, daily comparisons, and estimated bills- on energy consumption of appliances or lighting at home through charts on the web application.
I expect this tool to allow people to become aware of their spending, to help cut down electricity bill, and futhermore to help slow down depletion of fossil fuel reserves.
Team project for Senior Design Project at the University of Illinois.
Developed an Android-based Application that generates optimized travel routes based on user's selection of places and restaurants.
The application is connected to the Relational Database System (MySQL) on AWS server and uses API calls on backend through AWS Lambda to perform HTTP requests and algorithms. Users select places on the database that contains name, address, business hours, and ratings from Yelp and TripAdvisor. All information is scraped from both TripAdvisor and Yelp and merged together to provide user accurate and less-missing information.
On AWS server, it runs sub-optimal traveling salesman algorithm to generate efficient itinerary in terms of time that connects all selected places. It also includes nearest restaurants among user's selection during lunch/dinner time on the itinerary.
Team project for CS411: Database System course at the University of Illinois.
Developed no-ink, no-paper-pen by programming attachable Arduino board to detect handwritten alphabets using gyro/accelerometer.
Team project for Engineering Open House at the University of Illinois.
Developing an Android-based Application. Application offers simple, yet interactive user interface with least needed functionalities.

Use historical data of stock prices from top tech firms and use regression to build prediction model that analyzes trend to help decision in stock market.
Players can create blocks and spheres of different size and color to build anything they want to. The object of the game is to enable players to make their imagination into reality with least real-world physics law, which is gravity.
The game also contains several mini games such as bowling and basketball with the same physical effect- bouncy court and slippery lanes- as in the real world.
Developed a simple operating system that imitates basic functionalities of Linux.
Python-based Graphic User Interface (GUI) to analyze raw data from the sensor and visualize the obtained results.
